My Testimonial by Steve on Friday 11 June 2004 I first heard of AMSOIL products about 30 years ago. I was racing a motorcycle in local events and trail riding. My motorcycle was a Hodaka 100, powered by a 2-cycle engine. I started out using oil requiring a 32 to 1 mix. It was not a good idea to ride anywhere without at least 2 sparkplugs as spares. I sometimes had to change sparkplugs several times in one day! After I started using AMSOIL 100 to 1 mix 2 cycle oil, I rarely had to change sparkplugs! There were many times the spark plugs would last several months. I found another benefit was better performance. I was told later it was because when oil is mixed with gasoline it degrades the octane rating. The much smaller amount required with AMSOIL made the fuel more powerful. My bike revved better and had more power. My bike was 100 CC’s and I was competing with 125 CC bikes. The performance increase was quite noticeable and I didn’t get passed while changing spark plugs!
